Lorraine Wilde is a freelance journalist, environmental scientist, and a regular contributor to the parenting web site Neighborhood-Kids.com. She’s published articles in Entertainment News NW, the Whatcom Watch, and Parent to Parent of Whatcom County.
Her essay, Finding My Way, will appear in the anthology Easy to Love But Hard to Raise: Challenging Kids, Real Parents, True Stories by DRT Press in Feb. 2012.
She is currently writing her memoir, Egg Mama: An Egg Donor and Her Extraordinary Family. Before becoming a full-time writer, Lorraine was an activist, scientific technical writer, and educator for 15 years. She earned her Master’s degree in Environmental Science in 1995 from Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment and her Bachelor’s from University of Puget Sound in 1992.
Lorraine also performs improv at Bellingham’s Upfront Theater.
